About Alegría Photo Booth
Hola! We’re Marivel and Taiz, the mother–daughter team behind Alegría Photo Booth. Based in Portland, our goal is to provide a unique twist on the typical photo booth experience for celebrations across Oregon.
Alegría means happiness in Spanish — and that’s at the heart of what we do. From Portland wedding photo booth rentals to company activations and nonprofit gatherings, our handcrafted booth and design-forward approach create an experience that feels natural, stylish, and engaging. More than just photos, we offer a way for guests, clients, and teams to connect and share moments that last.

From start to finish every aspect of our experience was amazing! Taiz and Marivel went above and beyond with both their service, and their design. The customization exceeded our expectations for our fundraising event, right down to the photo booth props and verbiage on the capture screens.
Not only were they a joy to work with, but our guests all loved it! So many team members asked for us to have them back at every event, and our guests were clearly comfortable and having a blast during their time in the booth!

We had such a wonderful experience with Alegria Photo Booth! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, kind, and easy to work with. They brought great energy to our event and truly elevated the celebration. Guests loved the setup, and it quickly became one of the highlights of the night. They even projected the photos live directly onto a screen above the dance floor. It was fun to see the photos come in.
What stood out even more was their honesty and care. Someone had accidentally left their phone at the booth, and one of the team members went out of their way to return it right on the dance floor. That kind of thoughtfulness really speaks to the heart behind this business.
You can tell they’re doing this with passion and love. Highly recommend them for any event where you want great memories.

Taiz and Marivel at Alegria are literally a DREAM to work with.
