Behind the Booth: Indigiqueer Pride Gathering

Hosted by Multnomah County Library to kick off Pride Month, the Indigiqueer Pride Gathering was a space to honor, uplift, and celebrate Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer voices. The gathering brought people together through culture, and connection.

So when we were invited to bring Alegría Photo Booth into that space, we knew the experience had to do more than just document the day. It had to belong in the space and amplify the spirit of the event from the first screen tap to the last photo printed.

The Photo Booth screens

We started by listening. We took a close look at the visual identity for the event—pride colors, Indigenous motifs, and graphics that represent community and diversity and used those elements to design a fully custom booth interface. Over 10 branded screens were built to match the theme, featuring Multnomah County Library’s Pride artwork and colors. From the welcome screen to the sharing prompt, every touchpoint was aligned with the event’s purpose.

This is a big part of what sets  Alegría Photo Booth apart. Our photo booth interfaces aren’t one-size-fits-all. Every interface is intentionally designed to fit the tone, culture, and goals of your event. Whether that means a bilingual layout, heritage-specific design elements, or mission-driven messaging, we build it with care.
