For their wedding photo booth, T and J gave guests the best of both worlds with both print and digital keepsake options. Guests walked away with printed photo strips to hold onto, while the couple also included our guestbook add-on, which let everyone add a copy of their photos to a wedding photo booth guestbook (more on this later in the blog).
The booth was open throughout the night in a way that worked with their wedding timeline. During cocktail hour, it kept guests entertained and mingling. During dinner and speeches, we used Idle Time so all attention stayed on the couple and their families. Once the dance floor opened, the booth was back in action and stayed busy with guests jumping in between songs.
So, what is Idle Time? Idle Time allows us to pause the booth during key moments like dinner, toasts, or special dances. The booth is still fully set up and ready to go, but we don’t count those hours against the rental package. This way, couples don’t feel like they are “losing” booth time while guests are seated, eating, or focused on formal parts of the reception.
Bilingual Photo Booth Screens

Every detail of our setups is designed with the couple and their guests in mind, and T and J’s wedding was no exception. Alegría Photo Booth created more than 11 custom screens inspired by their lotería theme and wedding colors, so every moment at the booth felt intentional and tied to the wedding’s overall design.
What made the photo booth screens truly special was that they were bilingual. Some screens were entirely in English, others entirely in Spanish, and several blended both languages. A large part of the guest list spoke Spanish, and having instructions and prompts in their first language made the booth approachable and easy to use. At the same time, English-speaking guests moved through the experience just as smoothly.
When designing the screens, we started with the wedding invitation as our blueprint. The lotería cards used throughout the screens were pulled directly from the invite, and we carried the couple’s chosen font across all screens to maintain a cohesive look. Every screen was planned with intention, guiding guests from the welcome message to the final print.
By combining cultural elements, language, and thoughtful design, the photo booth became more than a place for photos. It became a space where guests connected, laughed, and left with keepsakes that reflected T and J and their community.
Outdoor Photo Booth setup
Our photo booth was nestled among towering pines and fern-covered ground, its handcrafted wooden frame blending seamlessly with the Oregon forest.
The bride wanted something that felt earthy but still romantic, so we paired our setup with a floral backdrop. Think soft layers of blooms and greenery that popped against the forest without looking out of place. It gave the photo booth a cozy, intimate feel while still keeping that wow factor for photos.
And if you’re wondering, “Wait, how did they even power a photo booth in the middle of the woods?”, we’ve got that covered. Every outdoor wedding photo booth rental we do is equipped with a portable power generator and a hotspot. That means the booth can run smoothly no matter how far off the grid the venue is. Despite being 25 miles from cell service, guests were able to print and text their photos without worrying about cell service.
